About The Characters

Jelly and Bean are two kittens who came into the author’s family in June 1998. They are sister and brother.
Bean loves to eat and he sleeps a great deal. He is a bigger cat than Jelly. Jelly is more active and inquisitive than Bean.

Wellington is the father of Kevin. He is a kind dog and looks after Kevin very well.
Kevin is a mischievous puppy and he likes to run around. Both dogs sleep in the blue kennel in the farmyard.
Lotty is a female puppy. She lives in the farmhouse and plays with Kevin most of the time.

The pig family consists of Mum, Dad, Billy, Milly, Tilly and Tom.
They live in a shed that opens on to a field.
There are some bushes, some patches of mud and a log in the field.
There is also a path across the field to the pond, where the little pigs like to play.
