Delivery Information

Schools in the UK:

We supply schools in the UK directly from our office and warehouse without the involvment of book wholesalers or supply services.

Our contact details are accessed via the Schools tab.

We give 30 day credit accounts to all schools in the UK and send invoices with the goods or by email.

We accept school order forms, local authority order forms and our own forms.

We also take orders by telephone, via a fax machine or by email to jellyandbean@mac.com.

Our books are also available from Amazon, including single copies of single books. For multiple copies of single books, please contact us.

Schools may buy single books. These cost £2.00 each plus postage. Please contact us by telephone or email for these.

Individuals in the UK:

Individuals in the UK may buy books from this website using a debit card, credit card, Paypal or American Express.

Simply find the items from the Products tab, then click on 'more details'. The items may then be added to the basket. The secure payment system will complete the process. 

Single books are easily purchased via Amazon. These cost £2.00 each plus the usual Amazon delivery charges. 

Postage and packing within the UK:

We have three delivery options for customers in the UK. These are:

Royal Mail First Class post - suitable for items weighing less than 1kg or approximately less than £30 in value.

Royal Mail Second Class post - suitable for items weighing less than 2 kgs or approximately £50 in value.

UPS Next Day Courier service. This service has a standard cost of £6.95 and should be used for heavier items.

Schools and individuals outside the UK:

Simply buy online from this website and pay with a debit card, credit card, Paypal or American Express.

There are some variations for schools and individuals in EU countries. Please see below.

There may also be import taxes due in some other countries. These are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Schools and individuals in EU countries, including Ireland 

We have to add VAT at 20% onto the prices of all our books supplied to schools and individuals in EU countries, including Ireland. This is part of EU rules.

Commerical distributors from EU countries are exempt from this tax rule when they supply us with their VAT number.

Postal charges to countries outside the UK:

Small orders are sent via a trackable Royal Mail Service, but it is not possible to cater for these deliveries within the standard charges on the website.

We refund any overpayment back to the customer when we send the books.

France & Germany Standard charge £31.20 UPS Standard Road Service
Ireland Standard charge £25.60 UPS Standard Road Service
Rest of Europe Standard charge £31.80 UPS Standard Road Service
USA Minimum charge £32 £9 per kg
Canada Minimum charge £40 £10 per kg
Australia and Far East Minimum charge £45 £11 per kg
Rest of World Minimum charge £50 £12 per kg

Consignments to Ireland and Europe will be sent by a trackable standard road service from UPS.

Other consignments will be sent by the UPS Worldwide Service. This is a trackable service.

Trade customers should contact us by email for a quotation.

There are no delivery charges to a shipping company in England for large export orders.
