Phase 2

The phoneme/grapheme correspondences of 19 of the single letters of the alphabet are introduced here.

These are: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, k, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, u.

Books 1 - 7 in the A series and books 1 - 7 in the B Series provide 14 decodable books for this phase. A selection of them is shown above.

Worksheets Volumes 1 and 2 provide over 90 different sheets for writing material and handwriting practice.

Some of the easier worksheets from the Red CVC Volume and the Mixed CVC Volume are also appropriate.
