Reception A Series

This series of books introduces all the small letters of the alphabet in meaningful settings. Some capital letters are introduced from book 5 onwards. These are ' I J B T A L W O K M Z '. Sentence structure begins in book 5 also with the phrase ‘I am …..’. The vowel digraphs ‘ee oo ay’ are used in books 6, 7, 8 in the words ‘see look play’. The tricky words ‘the I me no’ are also used. The letter ‘y’ is consistently used in ‘Jelly, puppy, Lotty, happy’.
