B Series

This series of books introduces all the small letters of the alphabet such that the words cannot be guessed from the pictures. Some capital letters are introduced from book 5 onwards. These are 'I J B T S L A P Q C O'. Sentence structure begins in book 5 also with the phrase ‘I am …..’. The vowel digraphs ‘ee oo’ (see look) are used in books 6, 7, 8 onwards. The tricky words ‘the I me’ are used also.
